Surprise, Sidney!

The official trailer for “Scream 7” dropped on Thursday — nearly 30 years after audiences were first introduced to Woodsboro in the 1996 original.

The next installment follows a new Ghostface killer as they reunite with Sidney Prescott in the town where she’s created a new life for herself.

“Her darkest fears are realized as her daughter becomes the next target. Determined to protect her family, Sidney must face the horrors of her past to put an end to the bloodshed once and for all,” per the synopsis.

The first look shows Neve Campbell, 52, and her daughter, Tatum, named after her best friend (played by Rose McGowan) who was murdered in the original “Scream.”

Along with Sidney and Tatum (Isabel May), the trailer also features Joel McHale as a police officer and Sidney’s husband, Mark.

Courteney Cox’s Gale Weathers is back as well, walking up to Sidney in the clip and exclaiming: “Let’s unmask this f—er.”

Mason Gooding and Jasmin Savoy Brown also return as Chad and Mindy Meeks-Martin, respectively.

The twins are the niece and nephew of the late Randy Meeks (Jamie Kennedy), who was murdered in “Scream 2.”

At the end of the trailer, a very familiar voice could be heard. Fans immediately believed it to be Matthew Lillard’s Stu Macher.

“This is gonna be fun!” he muses, which he also uttered in the original film.

Stu was one of two killers alongside his best friend Billy Loomis (Skeet Ulrich) in “Scream.”

Also returning to the franchise along with Lillard, 55, is David Arquette’s Dewey Riley and Scott Foley’s Roman Bridger, despite their characters being killed off.

Lillard first teased his return in January, sharing a video to Instagram that showed a hand written note with one of his character’s last lines: “My mom and dad are gonna be soo mad at me!!”

However, the actor was a bit worried to step back into Stu.

“I’m nervous, because at this point in my life, the only thing I can do is sort of ruin how people consider Stu,” he told People. “[Especially] if I come back and I suck or I was lame.”

It was “a risk that I was excited to take,” Lillard added.

“At the same time, I’m nervous to see the outcome. I hope people like it.”

Campbell’s return, meanwhile, comes after sitting out from “Scream 6” due to salary disputes. (She and Lillard dated from 1996 to 1998.)

“Sadly, I won’t be making the next ‘Scream’ film,” she shared in a statement in 2022. “As a woman I have had to work extremely hard in my career to establish my value, especially when it comes to ‘Scream.’ I felt the offer that was presented to me did not equate to the value I have brought to the franchise.”

Campbell noted that it was “a very difficult decision to move on,” but thanked those who had “always been so incredibly supportive.”

“Scream 7” also marks “Scream” creator Kevin Williamson’s first time directing, following the death of original director Wes Craven in 2015.

“Oh, it’s been awesome [to return],” he told The Post in June. “I’ve always been on the fringes of the last few ‘Scream’ movies, as sort of the granddaddy of the franchise.”

“They’ve been very kind to me and very welcoming,” he added. “And then they allowed me to direct this one. And we had a blast. It was so nice to work with Courteney Cox and Sidney and tell a new story. So, I hope people like it.”

“Scream 7” hits theaters Feb. 27.
