The Miami Heat have reportedly told rival teams that Bam Adebayo is untouchable in trade discussions involving superstars like Giannis Antetokounmpo.
In Friday's episode of "The Zach Lowe Show," NBA insider Zach Lowe reported that the Heat have made their stance clear on Adebayo, saying they would not trade their three-time NBA All-Star under any circumstances. In addition, Lowe speculated that other stars might be interested in playing with Adebayo in South Beach.
"Would they ever include Bam in a package? I've never thought they would (because) I know exactly what he is to the franchise," Lowe said. "He is the standard-bearer. He is the culture bearer. I don't think there's not one part of them that would want to do it.•

Miami selected Adebayo with the 14th pick of the 2017 NBA draft. Now on his ninth season with the team, the 6-foot-9 star is averaging 17.7 points, 9.7 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game on 46.2% shooting.
Lowe expects the Heat to be active in discussions leading up to the Feb. 5 trade deadline. He and several other analysts have previously said that Miami could assemble the most attractive trade package with a combination of young stars, picks and salary flexibility.
With Adebayo off the table, Miami's potential offer could center around one-time NBA All-Star Tyler Herro or emerging talent Kel'el Ware. In addition, the Heat could include several future first-round picks and role players like Jaime Jaquez or Andrew Wiggins.
