With the Feb. 5 trade deadline approaching, NBA insider Brett Siegel proposed a five-team blockbuster trade involving Anthony Davis, Jonathan Kuminga and Trae Young, among others.
In an article on Tuesday, Siegel reported the latest intel on Davis' situation with the Dallas Mavericks, saying the team is "open to the idea" of making a trade. Among the teams with interest in the 10-time NBA All-Star is the Atlanta Hawks, which Siegel said could offer 2024 No. 1 pick Zaccharie Risacher.
With this, Siegel proposed a multi-team trade that also involves the Sacramento Kings, Golden State Warriors and Brooklyn Nets. In the framework, Davis would land in Atlanta alongside Zach LaVine and D'Angelo Russell. In return, Dallas would receive Risacher, Domantas Sabonis, Luke Kennard and three first-round picks.

Per Siegel, while there is no report indicating the five teams' interest in his mock trade, this scenario would address the several rumors that have been floating around.
The Warriors will reportedly trade Jonathan Kuminga before the deadline
In "Clutch Scoops" on Tuesday, NBA insiders Brett Siegel and Tomer Azarly discussed the players who will likely get traded before the deadline. According to Siegel, the Golden State Warriors have indicated their stance on Jonathan Kuminga, who will be trade-eligible on Jan. 15.
"The Warriors are focused on moving Jonathan Kuminga," Siegel said. "They're already working on several angles involving Kuminga. … The Warriors will have a deal to move him before the deadline."In Siegel's five-team blockbuster trade proposal, Kuminga would land with the Sacramento Kings, who have reportedly targeted the 23-year-old forward since last season.
Kuminga began this season as Golden State's starting power forward, but has fallen out of the rotation once again. Despite being healthy, he just played in four of the Warriors' 12 December games.
In 18 games, the 6-foot-7 forward is averaging 11.8 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.6 assists on a career-low 43.1% shooting, including 32% from 3-point range.
