Just like Sunday, Monday is going to be a pivotal night in the NBA Playoff landscape.
There are two Game 4s on tap, starting with the Celtics in Gotham trying to even their series with the Knicks.
It wraps up in the Bay, where the reeling Warriors try to avoid going into a 3-1 hole against the Timberwolves.
We’ve locked in our player props for these biggies - check out our free picks below.
NBA Player Prop Picks for May 12
Jayson Tatum Under 27.5 points (-115 at Bet365)
After demolishing Orlando with three 35+ point games to close out the series, Jayson Tatum cannot find the range against the Knicks.
The Magic had an elite defense, but New York has elite 1-on-1 defenders in Mikal Bridges and OG Anunoby, with a smothering team concept around Tatum.
He’s shooting just 32.3% in the series, yet the books have kept his scoring levels at about his season average, even though he’s yet to come within four points of this 27.5 scoring line through three games.
It’s a biggie at MSG, but I think New York forces the Celtics to beat them as a collective, rather than JT going berserk.
Julius Randler Over 6.5 rebounds (-135 at Bet365)
Anthony Edwards is the star of the Timberwolves, but there’s little doubt that Julius Randle is the meat and potatoes that keep this offense on time.
He’s coming off an incredible 24-point, 12-assists, 10-rebound triple double to reclaim home court against the Warriors.
Randle has a reachable 6.5 rebound line against the Dubs Monday, a figure he’s topped in each of his last two starts.
With Golden State at its best when it goes small, Randle should again be a prominent player inside the paint at both ends of the floor.
Look for him to be close to the Over on this before halftime.
Brandin Podziemski Under 1.5 3-point makes (-105 at Bet365)
Without Steph Curry, Brandin Podziemski doesn’t have the same space. Throw in the fact that he’s scored 11 points or less in five of the last six games, and he’s also just not playing well.
Podz has shot an equal 21.3% from the field and 3-point line against the Timberwolves, connecting on just a single triple in each of the first three games.
Minus Curry again, the court will look a lot smaller with Minny’s super-sized guards hounding him.
Podziemski has been a non-factor for the Warriors in this series, and I don’t see a breakout coming in a crucial Game 4.
