As the entire NBA world anxiously waits Giannis Antetokounmpo's decision about his future, NBA legend and former teammate, DeMarcus Cousins, has an idea of where he would like to see the Greek Freak get traded next season.
While on Run it Back on FanDuel TV, the four-time All-Star stated that the Miami Heat would be the perfect landing spot for Antetokounmpo.
"I would love to see Giannis in Miami," Cousins said on "Run It Back" on FanDuel TV. "It's an organization that's proven. They know how to build around a superstar. It'd definitely put a better light on Pat Riley with how it went with Jimmy Butler to get another superstar like Giannis, so it makes sense."

"I think that's the perfect move. It would help Miami, with them struggling to get a superstar after how the breakup went with Jimmy Butler. It makes sense. He's already said he wants to play in a tax-free state."
ESPN's Shams Charania reported that the two-time MVP is open to the idea of playing elsewhere, fueling speculation about a potential trade.
If Antetokounmpo were to request a trade to the Miami Heat, he would bring star power to a Heat roster that traded its biggest star, Jimmy Butler, to the Golden State Warriors.
The No. 1-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers eliminated the Miami Heat in the first round of the 2025 NBA Playoffs. Currently, they lack the assets needed to make a trade to get a star of the caliber of Antetokounmpo.
Giannis Antetokounmpo is still on top of his game. Last season, he averaged 30.4 points,11.9 rebounds, and 6.5 assists.
Still, Cousins is a firm believer that Antetokounmpo's time in Milwaukee may be nearing its end.
"I think Giannis and the Bucks have ran their course. I think he's given them everything he can and I think it's time for him to start thinking about himself in this situation. It's time for him to be selfish with his career."
