The NBA Draft odds have changed to discourage teams from racing to the bottom of the standings, but tanking hasn't fully been eradicated. Franchises will still play for the best lottery odds possible in hopes of landing a young superstar.
Cooper Flagg is undoubtedly the 2025 NBA Draft's top prospect. He has been the consensus No. 1 pick in mock drafts for months, and he is expected to join a Mavericks roster that also features Anthony Davis and Kyrie Irving.
Dylan Harper seems to be the most likely selection at No. 2, but the Spurs have been involved in trade rumors as they search for pieces to put around Victor Wembanyama. It's possible Harper could ultimately land elsewhere despite being the No. 2 pick.
