The 2026 NBA All-Star Weekend festivities are approaching quickly. This year, the All-Star Game will introduce a new format.

To revitalize the event, Adam Silver has chosen a U.S. versus World tournament for the 2026 NBA All-Star Game.

Get ready for an exciting 2026 NBA All-Star Game, where three teams—two from the United States and one international team (the World team)—will face off in a round-robin format featuring four 12-minute games.

Before that, All-Star Saturday Night is packed with entertainment that fans will love.

How to watch NBA All-Star Weekend: TV channels, live streams

Events throughout NBA All-Star Weekend will air live on NBC and can also be streamed on Peacock. The exception is the NBA Celebrity All-Star Game, which will be on ESPN

Peacock’s sports programming features live coverage of NFL Sunday Night Football, the NBA, Olympic and Paralympic Games, Big Ten football and basketball, Notre Dame football, Big East and Big 12 basketball, Premier League soccer, golf, and more.

NBA Slam Dunk Contest participants 2026

The AT&T Slam Dunk debuts with four players in a two-round contest judged on dunk scores. In round one, all try two dunks; the top two advance. The finalists then attempt two more dunks, and the higher score wins.

NBA 3-Point Contest participants 2026

The State Farm 3-Point Contest features five talented 2026 NBA All-Stars: Devin Booker, Tyrese Maxey, Donovan Mitchell, Jamal Murray, and Norman Powell.

It’s also special to see two past winners participating, including Booker, who won in 2018, and two-time champion Damian Lillard, who won in 2023 and 2024. Lillard has a chance to tie the record of three titles held by legends Larry Bird and Craig Hodges.

This year’s competition is heightened by the participation of four debutants: Kon Knueppel, Maxey, Murray, and Bobby Portis.

Additionally, it is noteworthy that Knueppel has the potential to become the first rookie to achieve victory in this prestigious event.

NBA Shooting Stars participants 2026

Shooting Stars uses a two-round format: all four teams compete in the first round, with the top two advancing to the final. Teams compete individually, having 1:10 to score at seven spots, with three players taking shots in order. The higher score wins.
