Dylan Crews has a chance to be one of the best players in baseball. That's how talented the Nationals young outfielder is.
On Sunday, he showed off the fielding portion of his skillset.
Crews raced down a ball that Statcast ruled to have a 5-percent catch probability. That means that in their database, 19 out of 20 batted balls hit at that angle at that speed wound up as hits.
Not this one.

Crews was the No. 2 overall pick in the 2023 MLB Draft.
He's still just 23 years old out of LSU.
His bat got off to an ice-cold start this season, and his batting average is only just starting to creep up.
He does have five home runs already.
Crews still has work to do on his game, but when a player makes a play like this one, it reminds you of their potential.
The Nationals will give Crews as many chances as he needs, because his ceiling is still sky high.
