CJ Abrams is just one piece of the Washington Nationals' mega return from the Juan Soto trade a few years ago.
And he, like much of the rest of that trade, looks like a winning acquisition.
Abrams joined exclusive Nationals history on Monday night when he stole his 100th base with the Nats.
He's just the third player in Nationals history (2005-present) to reach triple-digit steals, joining Trea Turner (192) and Ian Desmond (122).

Abrams has reached 100 steals in 399 games with Washington.
Turner's 192 stolen bases with the Nats came in 637 games.

That means Abrams is slightly off Turner's pace, but he'll have a chance to get there if he stays in the nation's capital long term.
Abrams has also continued to develop as a hitter. He's currently hitting a career-best .281 and has an .839 OPS. His 11 homers put him on pace to break his career-high of 20 for a season.
The fact that Abrams, James Wood and MacKenzie Gore all came back for Soto looks like one of the best trades the Nationals possibly could've made.
If the wins start to follow, it'll feel even better.
But for now, Abrams can be happy to be part of a very limited-entrance Nationals stolen base club.
