Natasha Lyonne Responds After Allegedly Being Escorted Off Flight
Natasha Lyonne is sharing more insight into her recent travel mishap.
Three days after the Poker Face star was removed from a Delta flight for reportedly failing to follow flight attendants’ instructions, she shared that a sleeping pill she had taken impacted her experience.
“I took a Lunesta once seated, to ensure some shut eye on the Delta One red eye flight to NYC,” Natasha wrote on X April 10. “Boarded seamlessly with just a backpack and sneakers, eager for a nap.”
Noting her scheduled appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, the 47-year-old added, “Plan was to be bushy tailed & beauty rested, as I was meant to head straight to glam for a slot with our beloved @DrewBarrymore upon landing.”
Though Natasha was looking forward to having “an in depth convo” with her pal Drew Barrymore, the Russian Doll actress was reportedly removed from the April 7 flight after crew members alleged she would not fasten her seatbelt or shut down her laptop, according Page Six.
Although the plane had already begun taxiing to the runway, it returned to the gate, where Natasha was escorted off of the plane, per the outlet.
In her April 10 post to X, Natasha alleged that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement was involved, saying, "I guess ICE had other plans & I was detained.”
She also addressed her fellow passengers, writing, “Apologies to any travelers who were delayed.”

Natasha ultimately made it to New York City, though, as she attended the April 9 premiere of Lorne, a documentary focused on Saturday Night Live creator Lorne Michaels. After the screening, she hung out with SNL alum Seth Meyers and current cast member Sarah Sherman, and later praised the movie.
"Beautiful documentary on Lorne by Morgan Neville,” she wrote on X April 9. “Laughed a whole lot."
