NASCAR Playoff Picture 2025: Updated Cup Series points standings after FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway

Fifteen races have taken place in the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series season. Joe Gibbs Racing driver Denny Hamlin became the latest winner of the season after winning the FireKeepers Casino 400 at Michigan International Speedway on Sunday, June 8.

Hamlin passed William Byron with four laps to go and never looked back to cross the finish line in P1.

With the win, Hamlin gained 51 points. He moved to third place in the Cup Series points table with 494 points. After a runner-up finish at Michigan, Chris Buescher gained 45 points and moved to 12th place in the Cup Series points table with 342 points.

After a P28 finish at Michigan, William Byron gained 29 points and maintained the top position in the Cup Series points table with 576 points. His teammate Kyle Larson is 41 points behind him for the regular season championship.

Chase Briscoe, who started on the pole, failed to utilize the advantage and secured a 23rd-place finish. He gained 21 points and is 11th in the points standings with 363 points.

Joey Logano, the defending NASCAR Cup Series champion, finished 22nd and gained 15 points. He moved to ninth place in the points table with 395 points.
