It’s mud season, that messy transition where rain, snow, and slush tag-team to bring a little doom and gloom to your doorstep. But if you’re armed with my survival kit (re: a great book, a hot coffee, and the world’s coziest blanket), you might actually find yourself looking forward to the grey skies.
Thanks to this Cozy Earth Cuddle Blanket, I’m actually looking forward to these rainy days. But don’t take my word for it, Oprah Winfrey has an obsession that rivals my own as she’s placed Cozy Earth on her Favorite Things list several years in a row again and again.
I test thousands of products as a shopping writer, but Cozy Earth is the brand I’m continually impressed by and will continue to purchase from for years to come. It’s high quality, softer than cashmere and the best creature comfort I can think of for cozy days.
Cozy Earth Cuddle Blanket

You can choose between the classic Bubble, the extra-dimensional Double Bubble, or the Channel patterns. Each feels as good as it looks.
These blankets are exceptionally soft and hit that perfect mid-weight sweet spot, heavy enough to feel substantial but breathable enough for year-round use. But if you want extra-heavy weight, Cozy Earth also offers that as an option.
The blanket comes in a standard 60 inches by 50 inches throw for solo lounging or a generous 80 inches by 60 inches oversized version for when you really want to disappear into the cozy. I chose the oversized version so my Sheepadoodle, Lucy, and I could snuggle without being short on length or width.
