Netflix’s My Korean Boyfriend's episode 1 begins with the 5 Brazilian women arriving in Seoul, South Korea and moving into a shared house. Mariana is left upset when her online boyfriend Danny fails to pick her up from the airport, making her question whether he is real. The group then opens up about their relationships, deepening Mariana’s doubts after hearing about Luanny’s troubled relationship.

Later, Katy goes on her first proper date with Jack, whom she has met during her previous trip in Korea, on a train in Busan. While the meeting excites the others, Katy soon realizes she has little in common with Jack. He is introverted, dislikes going out, and is allergic to cats, while she is outgoing and owns several cats. Apart from working out, their compatibility feels limited.

Luanny meets her on-again, off-again boyfriend Si-won and voices concerns about being a single mother, his financial instability, and language barriers. The discussion soon turns tense when Si-won fails to address her concerns meaningfully. His explanation about growing up poor and constantly investing to cope with that unsettles her further.

Mariana too finally meets Danny, who apologizes with a single rose. She is smitten by his gesture. Morena, meanwhile, goes on a romantic date with longtime partner Su-woong. This lead to Luanny reflecting deeply on her relationship. Camila comforts her, saying she deserves better. The next day, Camila and Luanny visit the hospital where Camila is born, leading Camila to emotional closure and acceptance of her Brazilian identity.

Mariana and Danny continue dating with him buying them matching clothes. Their chemistry grows quickly, with hand-holding and affectionate moments, though Danny admits such closeness is uncommon so early in Korean culture.

Katy later goes on a final date with Jack, realizes they lack compatibility, and ends the relationship amicably. Later, while the others go karaoke to cheer Katy up, Luanny stays back to talk to Si-won. Instead of resolving things, he blames her and demands an apology. Luanny argues back pointing out his infidelity with a Turkish woman. This ends the episode 3 of My Korean Boyfriend.

Episode 4 features a panel of hosts reacting to the first 3 episodes of My Korean Boyfriend. Initially skeptical, they grow supportive of Morena and Su-woong’s engagement, praise Camila’s closure, and warm up to Mariana and Danny’s relationship.

They agree Katy and Jack are incompatible and express strong frustration over Luanny’s situation with Si-won, eagerly anticipating what comes next. On this note the episode 4 of My Korean Boyfriend ends.
