Veteran India batter Rohit Sharma shared a heartfelt post to mark wife Ritika Sajdeh’s 38th birthday on Sunday, December 21. The couple, who tied the knot on December 13, 2015, are parents to two children, daughter Samaira and son Ahaan.

To celebrate the occasion, Rohit shared a series of pictures on Instagram, captioning the post:

“Happy happy birthday to my CONSTANT non-striker's end partner, You are the glue that keeps our little family together. 3 of us love you very much 😁😍❤️☘️🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒.”

On the cricketing front, Rohit is set to turn out for Mumbai in their opening two matches of the 2025-26 Vijay Hazare Trophy, which begins on Wednesday, December 24. Mumbai will face Sikkim in their tournament opener in Jaipur before taking on Uttarakhand at the same venue on December 26.

Rohit Sharma’s next international assignment will be the New Zealand series in January

On the international front, Rohit Sharma is next expected to be in action during the three-match home ODI series against New Zealand, starting January 11 at BCA Stadium in Kotambi, Vadodara.

The Mumbai batter enjoyed a fantastic year in 50-over cricket in 2025, playing 14 matches and scoring 650 runs at an average of 50.00 and a strike rate of 100.46, including four fifties and two centuries. He is currently the number one ranked batter in the format.

Overall, the 38-year-old has played 279 ODIs for India, amassing 11,516 runs at an average of 49.21 with a strike rate of 92.85, including 33 centuries and 61 fifties to his credit.
