The Los Angeles Rams are coming off a rough loss to the Seattle Seahawks, blowing a 30-14 lead in the fourth quarter and relinquishing the lead in the NFC West, as well as the ability to control their won destiny for the No. 1 seed in the NFC playoff picture.
While the game got away, star wideout Puka Nacua put up one of the best stat lines of his career, hauling in 12 catches for 225 yards and two touchdowns. Nacua has had an incredible season, catching 114 passes for 1,592 yards and eight touchdowns. For that reason, he has been named a Pro Bowler for the second time in his career.
Nacua had a down 2024 season, missing six games due to injury. He still hauled in 79 passes, but his lack of availability kept him from earning a Pro Bowl bid. A monster 2025 though has him back in the annual All-Star game.
Nacua joins Amon-Ra St. Brown of the Detroit Lions, George Pickens of the Dallas Cowboys, and Jaxon Smith-Njigba of the Seattle Seahawks as the four NFC Pro Bowl wide receivers.
Quarterback Matthew Stafford is also Pro Bowl bound. The MVP front-runner is aging like a fine wine and put together the best season of his career, throwing 40 touchdowns to just five interceptions on the year. He, along with Sam Darnold of the Seahawks and Dak Prescott of the Cowboys, are the Pro Bowl quarterbacks for the NFC.
The Rams take on the Atlanta Falcons and Arizona Cardinals to close out their season. And while they have a playoff spot clinched, they need to win both games and get a little bit of help in order to get back to being the No. 1 seed rather than the No. 6 seed where they currently sit.
