The finale of Ms. Incognito aired on November 4, 2025. With this, it wrapped up the 12-episode ENA romantic-thriller drama. The story followed Kim Yeong-ran (Jeon Yeo-been), a struggling bodyguard whose life turned upside down after a contract marriage with a dying chaebol chairman. The show began as a desperate attempt for survival and later evolved into a complex web of lies, revenge, and redemption.
In the final episode, Yeong-ran uncovered the full extent of Seon-yeong’s crimes. Despite Sung-ho’s brief return giving her strength to fight back, Seon-yeong ultimately murdered him. She sealed her own fate when her confession was caught on camera.
The evidence brought justice for Ye-rim’s death and also closed the long-running feud within the Gasung Group. Yeong-ran later stepped away from the company to reclaim her freedom and peace.
The episode ended on a hopeful note. Yeong-ran reunites with Dong-min at Hye-ji’s wedding after months of separation. Their emotional conversation revealed that both were ready to leave behind the chaos of Seoul and begin anew in Muchang.
The final scene, where Dong-min asked her to live with him and promised to protect her for life, hinted that they might finally get the happiness they had fought so hard for.
More about the finale, cast remarks, and future of Ms. Incognito
Park Yoo-young directed Ms. Incognito, which was written by Hyun Kyu-ri. This show, a mix of romance and suspense, had 12 episodes and aired from September 29 to November 4, 2025. The cast included Jeon Yeo-been, Jinyoung, Jang Yoon-ju, Joo Hyun-young, and Seo Hyun-woo in pivotal roles.
After the last episode, the cast thanked everyone who watched. Jeon Yeo-been thanked the team and audience for all the support for Yeong-ran during the emotional experience, hoping the character’s account would motivate the audience to seek their own happiness. As reported by The Chosun Daily, she said,
"I sincerely thank all the staff, actors, and viewers who supported and loved the 12-episode journey of 'Ms. Incognito' through a hot summer. I hope for Young-ran's happiness and wish the same for all of you. Young-ran was trapped in a life she desperately wanted to escape, but one day, she was offered a contract to reset her life and chose to be reborn. Whether her contract ultimately succeeded and what she gained in the end—watch to find out."#MsIncognito had the potential to be one of the best dramas of the year, but the writer didn’t fully capitalize on it. Still, it was entertaining with a great cast and likable characters. And I’ve officially become a fan of Jeon Yeo Been, her acting really impressed me
Looking back on Ms. Incognito, Jeon Dong-min, the single father, still grins when thinking about the experience. He said,
"It's hard to believe that after meeting 'Ms. Incognito' this spring, winter is already approaching. Every moment preparing for Jeon Dong-min was joyful, making this series a special, long-lasting work for me. I thank director Park Yu-young, writer Hyun Kyu-ri, and all the staff who created this passionate summer with us. I hope 'Ms. Incognito' remains in your “memories.""Meanwhile, Jang Yoon-ju, who took on the villainous role of Ga Seon-yeong, hoped that at least one line of her character from the series would remain with the viewers. She stated,
"I sincerely thank everyone who watched 'Ms. Incognito.' Though it’s hard to believe the series has ended, I hope at least one scene or line lingers in someone’s heart."The series' ratings increased steadily, crossing the 5% mark nationally. Viewers are now speculating about a second season. However, ENA has not announced any renewal plans.
Still, the open-ended farewell between Yeong-ran and Dong-min leaves room for interpretation and, perhaps, one day, a continuation of their story.
