Heidi Klum is hands down one of the most famous supermodels in the world. And the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue took to social media to share an epic throwback of the German star.
Wearing only a pair of pink string bikini bottoms, she cuddled with a little monkey.
“We’ll be your mommy,” SI Swim captioned the Thursday, February 26 share to Instagram. They tagged it #hangintherepunch, after the viral monkey sweeping the internet.
“But who’s your Daddy!!?” asked the magazine’s editor-in-chief, MJ Day.
“HAHAHA obsessed,” wrote fitness guru (and daughter of ‘80s workout video icon Denise Austin) Katie Austin, who just celebrated five years with the iconic swimwear magazine and brand.
Klum’s fans couldn’t get enough.
“The Heidi throwbacks are fabulous, so fun!” wrote one.
“Heidi Klum always takes the best photos of sports illustrated,” said another. “That’s why she’s still my favorite all-time Victoria’s Secret model.”
“Someone give the social team a raise,” begged a third.
“Punch the next SI Swim cover,” quipped a fourth, with another adding, “Best Bikini top ever!!!”
Klum, now 52, debuted on the cover of SI Swim in 1998 — and then every year through 2022. She returned in 2004, 2006, 2008 and 2014.
She has four children: Leni with ex-boyfriend Flavio Briatore, and Henry, Johan and Lou with ex-husband Seal. She married Tom Kaulitz in 2019 and was also married to Ric Pipino from 1997 to 2002.
