While the Blue Jays players are trying to persuade rTucker to join Toronto, the All-Star outfielder is also attracting interest from the New York Yankees, who are in the hunt for an outfielder. The four-time All-Star is expected to fetch a contract worth around a 10-year, $360 million contract in free agency.

Meanwhile, the Cleveland Guardians are looking to add more power to the batting lineup and are reportedly on the lookout for a right-handed hitting outfielder, per MLB insider Ken Rosenthal.

A potential signing would share the workload with Steven Kwan, who slashed .272/.330/.374 for the Guardians last season.

“I don’t think that the Blue Jays are done. I think they’re going to get a big bat,” Passan said. “I’m not sure if that’s Kyle Tucker, or Alex Bregman, or Bo Bichette, or maybe multiple of them. But I think the Blue Jays right now are in a position where they are willing to spend.” “They feel they have a window here and they’re going to take advantage of Vladimir Guerrero’s prime years and the team that pushed the Dodgers to the precipice in the World Series last year.”
