Shedeur Sanders and the Cleveland Browns suffered their fourth straight loss in on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills at Huntington Bank Field. The rookie quarterback threw a touchdown in the first drive to put his team in front; however he wasn't as effective for the rest of the game.

Browns insider Mary Kay Cabot was full of praise for the fifth-round pick despite the defeat.

"#Browns Shedeur Sanders putting on a running, passing clinic vs. the #Bills," Cabot tweeted.

Sanders completed 20 of 29 passes for 157 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. He also rushed four times for 49 yards. The rookie hurt his pinky finger while rushing in the second quarter. Dillon Gabriel took over but was welcomed with boos from the home crowd. Sanders returned with bangadge wrapped around his injured finger.

It was his fifth career start and his second-worst showing. He threw three interceptions in last week's 31-3 loss to the Bears.

Sanders has failed to record 200+ passing yards in three of his five starts. He has thrown only five touchdowns against seven interceptions and has taken 11 sacks.

Shedeur Sanders claps back at reporter after disappointing outing

Cleveland opted to go for it on fourth-and-2 with five minutes remaining, but Shedeur Sanders was sacked, handing the possession to the Bills.

The quarterback was asked after the game if going for it was the right call. He lashed out at the reporter for the question.

"I know you can't be asking me that question, man," Sanders said. "That's the thing. If we wanna change, if we wanna change the narrative, change the franchise, if we want to help, we got to speak. Those types of things separate us.

Sanders said reporters should refrain from asking questions that pin a player against the coaching staff and the locker room. He added that no matter what his answer was, it would only make things worse.
