MLB analyst puts the pressure on Brewers' Jackson Chourio to perform

The Milwaukee Brewers have been one of the most consistent teams over the years. Two-time NL Manager of the Year Pat Murphy has been able to get the most out of his team since joining in 2024.

They have won the NL Central three times in a row and have only missed the postseason once since the 2018 season. So, it's this club that the rest of the division are looking up to.

With a target on their backs, they will have to come out and put their best foot forward. They lost some key contributors over the offseason and may need someone to truly step up this season and take the next step.

MLB analyst puts the pressure on Brewers' Jackson Chourio to perform

One player who has bloomed with the club over the last few years has been Jackson Chourio. He signed with the team as an international free agent in 2021 and quickly made his way up through the minors.

He has played two full seasons so far, hitting 21 home runs apiece while holding at least a .270 batting average. And if he can take the next step this season, Bleacher Report's Tim Kelly has big expectations for the Brew Crew.

"Particularly if Jackson Chourio begins to realize his superstar potential as part of a lineup that also includes Brice Turang, Christian Yelich and William Contreras, the Brewers should be able to win their fifth division in the last six seasons."

Chourio has all the makings to be a superstar in this league; he just needs to put it all together. He's a five-tool player who could be the cornerstone for this franchise for years to come.

All he needs to do is work on his plate discipline, and the sky is the limit for the young Venezuelan slugger.
