After impressing in 2025, Kyle Tucker is considered by many to be the No. 1 free agent of the offseason. Though a number of top teams are reportedly keeping tabs on the outfielder, his future still remains undecided.
On Friday's episode of the "Hold My Ball Podcast," analyst Jake Savicki predicted NL West powerhouses the LA Dodgers to win the race for Kyle Tucker's signature.
"I think he's going to end up with the Dodgers on a short contract," Savicki said (Timestamp: 10:44). "He's going to be 29 this year. Give him three years with the Dodgers. (Maybe) Four. Give him 180 (million). $45 million a year. That, to me, is what I would do. I know it's a ton of money, but it's short, and you're getting him from 29, 30, 31, 32. I'm good with that. I'll pay you all this money. We got (Shohei) Ohtani. We got all these dudes. We got Teoscar (Hernandez) in right, who is coming back, I think, for one more year.•

Reds legend explains why Kyle Tucker deserves to be paid the big bucks
On Dec. 10's edition of "MLB Tonight," Cincinnati Reds Hall of Famer Sean Casey explained why he thinks Kyle Tucker deserves to land a huge contract.
"If I am a club, and I am looking for a guy to build around, that has great swing decisions, he's a five-tool player, he hits for damage, he does so many things well... Kyle Tucker is the guy that I would bring in for that long-term deal, and I would pay him over $400M," Casey said (Timestamp: 02:01).
