Following a major star hitting free agency, there have been reports of interest from major promotions. These include both WWE and AEW, as they have inquired about his status moving forward.
Colby Corino has been in the wrestling business for over a decade and has made appearances for several major promotions. In the early days of his career, he had brief stints with both ROH and NJPW. In 2020, he also appeared for the Stamford-based promotion, competing on single appearances on RAW Underground and 205 Live. But he is most known for his run in NWA.
The 29-year-old has just become a free agent following the end of his contract with NWA. Bodyslam.net has just reported that WWE and AEW have reached out regarding his status. It remains to be seen whether the companies end up offering him a contract.

Colby Corino was once signed to WWE
Before going back to NWA in 2023, reports came out regarding Colby Corino signing a contract with WWE. Bodyslam.net reported that as of January 2023, he was officially signed.
There were also mentions of him flying over to Orlando for a tryout, potentially making his NXT debut. It also seemed like he had competed in his final match in the independent circuit. However, it seems like things did not work out, as eventually he would sign with NWA and stay signed to the company for another 3 years.

He is not currently in a similar situation than he was in 2023, as he is once more a free agent to open 2026. Now it remains to be seen where he ends up going and whether he finally ends up signing with the wrestling juggernaut. Tony Khan could pull off a major move and suddenly bring him to his company, where he can debut for AEW or return to ROH.
