MJF offers to put the AEW World Championship on the line outside the company

The new AEW World Champion MJF offered to put his World title on the line outside Tony Khan's promotion. The Salt of the Earth will be making his return to the company as well.

MJF will put his AEW World title on the line outside Tony Khan's promotion. Maxwell Jacob Friedman won the All Elite World title second time in his career at Worlds End 2025 recently. He also reintroduced the 'BBB' rendition of the title on Dynamite this past week.

It was recently announced that Max will return to the Limitless Wrestling promotion on January 16. He recently shared his video on X calling out Alec Price:

"There's a guy in Limitless Wrestling. He's got a loud mouth. He's skinny. He won't shut the hell up, but the reason everybody hates him, the reason everybody really hates this guy, is because he can back it up. Alec Price, you remind me a lot of a young MJF, so I figured what better way than to start the new year than to bring in the biggest, grandest prize possible to Limitless Wrestling? Alec Price, fame comes with a price."

MJF further offered to put his AEW World title on the line against Alec Price:

"Will you rise to the occasion? If I hold on to my Triple B until my return to Limitless Wrestling, I will be putting it on the line against you. And let's be honest, I ain't losing this thing for a long, long time because my name is Maxwell Jacob Friedman, I'm better than you, and Alec Price, soon, you'll know it." [H/T WrestlingINC]

MJF's first AEW World title defense in the company

After MJF won the AEW World Championship at Worlds End 2025, It was revealed that his first title defense will be against this year's Dynamite Diamond Ring winner, Bandido. The match will take place on the Janaury 14th episode of Dynamite: Maximum Carnage.

It remains to be seen if Bandido could capture the World title from MJF.
