MJF made his return to All Elite Wrestling this week on Dynamite. The Salt of the Earth was away from the ring since September, and fans were anticipating his comeback for a long time. In his first appearance, he surprised the fans when he went on to lambast top AEW stars Samoa Joe, Hangman Page, and Swerve Strickland.

WWE veteran Bully Ray heavily praised this segment, especially Maxwell Jacob Friedman's performance on the mic. The former AEW World Champion took direct shots at Strickland, Joe, and Page. He not only insulted all three, but he also called them incapable of leading AEW as the World Champion. Therefore, Friedman cashed in his Casino Gauntlet contract to add himself to the Triple Threat title showdown at Worlds End to make it a 4-way.

Speaking on the Busted Open, Bully Ray said that it was a delight to see MJF taking on three of the top AEW stars. Ray gave a shoutout to the former AEW World Champion for being able to take down Joe, Strickland, and Page single-handedly with his exceptional mic work. As per the former WWE star, that moment alone has made The Salt of the Earth one of the biggest names in pro-wrestling.

"I think Max has hit his first stage of f*ck you in the wrestling business. And Max took three of the biggest stars in AEW. One of the most credible guys in all of pro wrestling, Samoa Joe, Swerve everybody's favorite, and Hangman Adam Page, who seems to sometimes be on top of the world and sometimes not so much. And Max, with one full swoop of his lightsaber, cut them all in half. They [Page, Swerve, & Joe] sit there and took it," said Bully Ray.

MJF is set to compete on the next edition of AEW Dynamite

MJF's last match in AEW was against Mark Briscoe at All Out in September. The Salt of the Earth battled Briscoe in a brutal tables n' tacks match, where he suffered a disheartening loss. This week, Friedman will make his comeback to the ring ahead of his AEW World Title match.

AEW has announced the special Christmas Eve edition of Dynamite for next week. The main attraction for the show is Maxwell's singles match following a break of three months. However, his opponent is not revealed yet.

With that said, only time will tell what is in store for MJF next week on Dynamite. This match will be a momentum-deciding battle for The Salt of the Earth before his 4-Way showdown against Samoa Joe, Swerve Strickland, and Hangman Page.
