Mojang recently released a new Minecraft Java Edition snapshot 25w45a, in which they added a new "Mob Kabob" advancement for the Mounts of Mayhem game drop. This advancement is related to the upcoming weapon, the spear. It can also be considered one of the trickiest advancements to achieve in the game.

Here is an entire step-by-step guide on how to get the Mob Kabob advancement in the Minecraft Mounts of Mayhem game drop.

Steps to get the Mob Kabob advancement in Minecraft

1) Craft a spear

First, you need to craft a spear. This is because the Mob Kabob advancement is spear-exclusive and cannot be achieved by any other weapon. The spear is one of the easiest weapons to make since it only requires one earth mineral and two sticks, as shown in the picture above.

2) Find several hostile mobs

Once you craft a spear, you need to then wait for nighttime, or enter a cave to find several hostile creatures. According to the snapshot 25w45a, you need to hit "enemies" with the spear to get the advancement, which means hostile mobs in a normal survival mode.

3) Hit five hostile creatures in one charge attack

Once you are ready, you must find at least five hostile creatures and attack them with a single charge attack. Once you attack five mobs with a single charge attack successfully, you will receive the "Mob Kabob" advancement in the Minecraft Mounts of Mayhem game drop.

Doing a charge attack and hitting five creatures with it can be tricky, since after one hit, the spear starts becoming unstable. However, even when it gradually becomes unstable, it can still hit entities. Hence, you can start by hitting the first entity, then quickly find more entities in the area and attack them as well. Once you reach five enemies, you will get the advancement.
