How Millie Bobby Brown’s Dog Reacted to Her and Jake Bongiovi Welcoming Baby
I don’t know about you, but Millie Bobby Brown is feeling 22.
The Stranger Things actress was all smiles with her husband Jake Bongiovi as they stepped out to celebrate her birthday in New York City.
For the Feb. 19 breakfast outing in Manhattan’s SoHo neighborhood, Millie donned a pair of baggy denim pants and black leather jacket, while Jake sported a pair of straight-leg blue jeans and gray-green sweater. As the pair—who tied the knot in May 2024—got into their car, they smiled and waved.
Of course, the Enola Holmes star has much to celebrate on her birthday—within the last year she said goodbye to Stranger Things, revealed she changed her last name and became a mom when she and Jake adopted a baby girl.
And indeed, Millie has reflected on the “beautiful, amazing journey” she has experienced as a first-time parent.
"She’s taught us so much already,” she told British Vogue in an interview published in November. “Perspective is a huge thing. The smaller things in life are so much more precious. Our days are filled with lots of cuddles and laughter and love. It’s just endless joy.”
After all, Millie has been reminded why she’s happy to have Jake—the son of Jon Bon Jovi and Dorothea Hurley—along for the ride.
“We are 50-50 on everything,” she continued. “That’s why I’m so grateful to have partnered with him in this life—he is just the most amazing dad.”
Plus, the couple is completely aligned on prioritizing their daughter’s privacy, including not revealing the child’s name until she’s "ready to decide for herself."

“For me, it’s really important to protect her and her story until she’s old enough to potentially one day share it herself,” Millie explained. “It’s not my place to purposefully put her in the spotlight unwillingly. If she chooses to share her personality one day with the world, like I did when I was young, that’s something we’d support.”
“But right now, as she’s so little,” she concluded. “As her parents, it’s our job to protect her from that.”
