Michelob Ultra Super Bowl commercial
Michelob Ultra’s 2026 Super Bowl commercial, titled "The ULTRA Instructor," serves as a dual celebration of Super Bowl LX and the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan Cortina. The cinematic 60-second spot, directed by Joseph Kosinski , features Hollywood legend Kurt Russell making his Super Bowl ad debut alongside actor Lewis Pullman, two-time Olympic gold medalist Chloe Kim, and NHL champion T.J. Oshie.

— Michelob ULTRA (@MichelobULTRA) January 28, 2026In the commercial, Pullman plays "Greg," an amateur skier who is constantly teased by his friends (including Days of Our Lives star Rob Scott Wilson) for being the slowest on the slopes and always stuck paying the bar tab. Russell appears as an instructor who takes Greg under his wing at dawn, putting him through a rigorous, high-altitude training montage set to Survivor’s "Eye of the Tiger." The training includes a direct nod to Russell’s iconic role as Herb Brooks in Miracle, with him shouting "Again!" as Greg pushes his limits.
The story culminates in a high-stakes downhill race where Greg shocks his friends —and elite athletes Kim and Oshie —by executing a massive flip and crossing the finish line first. The ad reinforces Michelob Ultra's long-standing "Superior Is Worth Playing For" platform, emphasizing that anyone can unlock their competitive edge when there is a cold beer on the line.
As part of the campaign, the brand is also activating a "Race to the Finish" social sweepstakes, giving fans a chance to win props from the set and tickets to the 2026 Winter Games.
