It's safe to say that the Christmas lists for NFL fans did not consist of Chris Oladokun, Max Brosmer or Josh Johnson.
But Merry Christmas, football watchers: You get one of those quarterbacks in each of the Christmas Day games on Thursday.
It's quite the hilarious development for the NFL, which tried to pick three marquee matchups for Christmas.
The first is Cowboys-Commanders. Both teams are eliminated from the playoffs, and the Commanders seem likely to start Johnson at QB. Jayden Daniels is out for sure, and Marcus Mariota has been trending that way.
Johnson has played for 14 NFL teams, a league record, but that doesn't make the 39-year old journeyman any more exciting to watch on Christmas (although he's at least a feel-good story).

In game two, it's Lions-Vikings. Detroit needs a miracle to still get into the postseason, while Minnesota's season is done aside from these two meaningless games.
J.J. McCarthy is out, and so is Carson Wentz, so that leaves the undrafted rookie Brosmer to start. His first start, in Seattle earlier this season, was one of the worst by a QB all season.
The nightcap is Broncos-Chiefs. What a game, right? Wrong.
Patrick Mahomes is out with a torn ACL, Gardner Minshew's knee is hurt, and so Oladokun starts for the already-eliminated Chiefs.
Oladokun, for his part, is embracing it.
"We have a lot of young guys playing, but it's a great experience," Oladokun told reporters this week. "It's going to be real valuable for us. It's Christmas Day. The possibility of me making my first start on Christmas Day is pretty special. I'll have family in town. I'm looking forward to it."
He might be the only one.
