AEW star Mercedes Moné was left frustrated this week. The star faced a humiliating loss at Worlds End.

Moné and Athena were in action at Worlds End this week. The stars faced Harley Cameron and Willow Nightingale for the AEW Women's Tag Team Championships. The four women put on an instant classic with the fate of the tag titles hanging in the balance. In the final stages of the match, Willow rolled up Moné to get a shocking pin and claim the victory for her team. Mercedes and Athena were irate and argued with each other as the champions celebrated their first successful title defense.

An AEW correspondent was backstage outside the star's locker room to get a word with her. The star lost her composure as she started screaming and throwing a tantrum inside her room. She then walked out and answered some questions. Moné dismissed any claims that 2025 was turning out to be a bad year for her. The star ran down some of her achievements throughout the year. She then issued a warning to Willow, claiming that she would destroy her next week on Dynamite.

"2025 hasn't been good to me? Did I hear that correctly? Ultimo Moné, a global icon, PWI's #1 wrestler of the year, Sports Illustrated's #1 wrestler of the year, and the greatest TBS Champion of all time. 2025 hasn't been good to me, Lexi? I do not want to hear about Willow Nightingale. Do you understand me? You know what, this week on Dynamite, Willow, at New Year's Smash, I'm gonna beat your f**king ass," Moné said.

Mercedes Moné recently lost a major title

Over the last few weeks, Mercedes Moné has lost a couple of titles in quick succession. At ROH Final Battle, the CEO lost the ROH Women's World Television title to Red Velvet.

On the Holiday Bash special Collision episode, she issued an open challenge for the RevPro Undisputed British Women's Championship. British wrestling sensation, Alex Windsor, answered this challenge and ended up defeating the champ in a huge upset.

It will be interesting to see if Mercedes Moné can bounce back from these two losses.
