Dailyn Swain is a new face for the Texas Longhorns.
But fans in Austin will quickly know his name and his game.
The 6-foot-8 wing transferred to Texas for this season and has two years of eligibility remaining. He'll take the floor for the first official time in the burnt orange on Tuesday night when the Longhorns open up against top-notch Duke on national TV.

Dailyn Swain transferred to Texas from Xavier.
He played in 63 games for the Musketeers with averages of 8.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.3 steals per game.
He shot 51% from the floor and 81.6% from the line across his two seasons at Xavier.
In 2024-25, his scoring average was 11.0 points per game.
Where is Dailyn Swain from?
Swain is an Ohio kid.
He spent some of his childhood in Sandusky, then moved to Columbus.
He attended Africentric Early College, where he became a top-100 national recruit and was a two-time Ohio Division III Player of the Year who went to the state final as a senior.
