Mavericks' Cooper Flagg makes absurd 1st-half history never done in NBA before

Cooper Flagg continues to prove he's the truth.

Having just turned 19, Flagg remains a record-setting rookie for the Dallas Mavericks after being the No. 1 overall pick out of Duke in the 2025 NBA Draft.

He didn't even need a full game to make history on Tuesday night.

Nope, Flagg had a first half so good it had never been done before.

The feat: Flagg is the youngest player in NBA history to have a half with 20-plus points on 90% or better shooting from the floor.

Flagg went for 22 against the Nuggets on 9-for-10, including 3-for-3 from 3-point range (he also made his only free throw attempt).

Flagg added four rebounds, four assists, one steal and one block.

There's really nothing this dude can't do.

Every time it seems like he might have hit a plateau for a game or two, he comes out and does something remarkable like this.

The Mavs certainly got mighty lucky landing the No. 1 overall pick in the lottery that came with the right to take Flagg.

It looks like he'll be the face of their franchise for years to come.
