LeBron James and Cooper Flagg shared an NBA floor on Saturday night.
It's a fitting fact, because the pair have been intertwined in basketball history essentially since the moment Flagg was drafted.
Flagg was the second-youngest player ever picked No. 1 overall in the NBA Draft.
The youngest, naturally, was James.
And basically every record Flagg sets in his rookie campaign was either done faster by James or not quite as fast by James.
That's true of what happened Saturday, too.
Flagg reached 800 career points. He's the second-fastest player in NBA history to get to that mark. The fastest was James, according to Real Sports.

Flagg finished with 16 points, seven rebounds six assists and two steals.
That wasn't enough to lead the Mavs past the Lakers, who got 33 points and 11 assists from former Dallas superstar Luka Doncic.
The game was in Dallas, and lots of Mavs fans showered Doncic with love, as they do for the star who they never wanted to see traded away.
Flagg provided a few reminders that this is his team now, including the cool fadeaway jumper pictured at the top of this article that he hit over Luka with LeBron watching from the paint.
Dallas will still need time to put all the pieces around Flagg. But he's a great foundation to build upon.
