Marvel Strike Force December update: Retcon, Jeff the Land Shark, and more

With a recent update, Marvel Strike Force received tons of fresh content that players had never seen before. This patch added Retcon (a new squad), Jeff the Land Shark, character updates, and squad updates. Read on to learn more about this update in detail.

Retcon

Retcon is a fresh team consisting of a group of some fourth-wall breakers, including Gwenpool, Deadpool, She-Hulk, Squirrel Girl, and their leader, Jeff the Land Shark, who is also a fresh character in-game. Alliance War Defense and Battleworld modes have been greatly affected by the arrival of this new squad.

In Battleworld, particularly, the arrival of Retcon will have a lasting effect. Using the squad in Sentry City will help you earn Sentry Shards faster, up to 150 of them in a month.

Jeff the Land Shark

Jeff is capable of slowing down enemy attacks by inflicting foes with Slow on Spawn, Trauma, and other negative effects. With his passive ability, he applies a new effect, Time-Warp, to either himself or a random Retcon ally the moment an enemy uses their Ultimate ability.

Additionally, in Alliance War Defense and Battleworld, those with the activated Time-Warp effect also gain a 616% speed boost.

Updated Squad

Gwenpool, Deadpool, She-Hulk, and Squirrel Girl received a new tier of boosted stats as well as improved kits.

She-Hulk

• Base Health stat has been increased by 317%
• Damage stat has been increased by 262%
• Base Armor stat has been increased by 355%
• Base Focus stat has been increased by 300%
• Base Resist stat has been increased by 413%

Squirrel Girl

• Base Health stat has been increased by 394%
• Damage stat has been increased by 272%
• Base Armor stat has been increased by 734%
• Base Focus stat has been increased by 317%
• Base Resist stat has been increased by 317%

Deadpool

• Base Health stat has been increased by 243%
• Damage stat has been increased by 127%
• Base Armor stat has been increased by 258%
• Base Focus stat has been increased by 258%
• Base Resist stat has been increased by 258%

Gwenpool

• Base Health stat has been increased by 300%
• Damage stat has been increased by 287%
• Base Armor stat has been increased by 284%
• Base Focus stat has been increased by 284%
• Base Resist stat has been increased by 284%
