A Death Riders member who returned to AEW after more than four months away started using a different finishing move upon his comeback, and a new update has revealed a possible reason for this change.

That member is PAC, who made a shocking return to AEW at All Out 2025 after being out for over 150 days due to an ankle injury. On the show, PAC came to the aid of his faction leader, Jon Moxley, helping him secure a win over rival Darby Allin in a coffin match. Aside from his impactful return, what caught the eye of the wrestling world was that "The Ba***rd" was sporting a new look with a grown-out beard and shorter hair. Moreover, it became clear in the following weeks of AEW programming that he had stopped using his popular finisher, the Black Arrow.

In a recent edition of Fightful Select Answers, wrestling insider Sean Ross Sapp explained that his new look was designed to match his growing heel persona. The same reason was behind dropping the Black Arrow finisher, with Sapp noting that it is an aesthetic move that gets cheers from the crowd.

PAC recently delivered an instant classic match with Tomohiro Ishii on AEW Collision.

A few weeks ago, at Collision, fans saw a historic first meeting of the Death Riders' PAC, facing NJPW star and Conglomeration member Tomohiro Ishii. The two stables have been in a feud for weeks, and this match was yet another singles bout between members of each faction.

The match itself was a tough, hard-hitting contest with both wrestlers showcasing their talent. While the Ba***ard brought his A-game with high-flying moves, the Japanese veteran doubled down on his technical skills and nearly got the better of his opponent. However, it was the English star who secured the win after being helped by repeated interference from his fellow Death Riders member.
