Just call them the Chiefs’ Angels.
After Taylor Swift attended the Nov. 10 Kansas City Chiefs vs. Denver Broncos game wearing a black-and-red checked Versace skirt set, Lucy Liu quite literally followed suit in a slight variation on the style.
Putting a spin on Swift’s chic separates, the 55-year-old actress chose a collarless coat and matching miniskirt in a wider plaid pattern while promoting her forthcoming movie “Red One” in NYC.
She paired the pieces with a black sweetheart-neckline tank, Stuart Weitzman platform heels and Azza Fahmy jewelry.
Stylist Sarah Slutsky shared Liu’s outfit along with several others on Instagram, calling the assortment “5 looks of holiday cheer.”
And Swift, 34, looked equally cheerful in her Versace miniskirt ($1,695) and matching blazer ($3,350 $2,512) earlier this month, wearing the latter draped over her shoulders.
She layered the suit on top of a black silk Victoria’s Secret corset ($100 $35) to cheer on boyfriend Travis Kelce, accessorizing with a coordinating Versace bag ($1,995) and boots ($2,066 $1,033).
Taylor pulled hair back into a French twist, adding a bit of bling with ruby rings from Retrouvai ($32,970) and Effy ($2,167) as well as a Louis Vuitton Tambour watch worth a whopping $54,000.
Liu has been dressing in her festive finest while promoting her Christmas-themed movie, which also stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Chris Evans.
At the New York premiere, she gleamed in gold Marchesa, and in Berlin, she was pretty as a present in a black Zuhair Murad gown with a bow-tied bodice.
