Los Angeles Rams linked to long-term Davante Adams replacement in form of LA standout

The Los Angeles Rams already have one of the better receivers in football in Puka Nacua, and Davante Adams was great last year.

However, that hasn’t stopped some from predicting them to add another weapon in the 2025 NFL draft. One intriguing possibility is Makai Lemon, who was recently linked to Los Angeles by Mark Morales-Smith of Sports Illustrated.

Morales-Smith believes the Rams could be the ideal destination for the USC product.

“This is the best landing spot for Lemon, and where we believe he will land at the moment. Davante Adams is 33 years old, and if he does return to Los Angeles this season, it will more than likely be his final year with the team.

“The Rams could select Lemon in the first round to set up their offense with an elite duo of Lemon and Puka Nacua for the long-term future. While they are already solid at wide receiver and are looking to win now, this team does not have many holes that they need to fill with rookies,” he wrote.

Even if Adams returns for another season, which seems like the case, the Rams will eventually need a long-term replacement for him.

Landing in Sean McVay’s offense could also help his development, something we’ve seen before. Pairing him with Nacua would give the Rams two young stars to build with for a very long time.
