It's training camp time, and the Detroit Lions are back in business. This is when players get tested. They also get to show off their stuff and compete for minutes once September rolls around.
One Lions star pulled off a crazy on-field antic that was honestly pretty gross, but the crowd loved it. There's something to be said for an NFL player who isn't afraid to do bizarre things on the field. It brings a danger to that player and may make other teams a bit more intimidated to go up against him.
That player is Lions defensive end Ahmed Hassanein. Dan Campbell, Brad Holmes and the team drafted him back in 2025.

On Monday, Colton Pouncy of The Athletic took to X to share his observations from training camp.
"Ahmed Hassanein just took a knee after a redzone period, puked, yelled at the top of his lungs and sprung to his feet for the next drill. Crowd loved it lol," he posted.
Gross. But, the crowd loved it. Side note: Get some Gatorade in that guy, or else he could get dehydrated.
Followers online loved the move, too. "Love it. Puke and rally," one said as a reply to the post.
"This guy might be a star. Homie just seems different," another commented.
"What a nut. I love it," one more added.
"That should translate into a Hall of Fame career," another said.
So, Hassanein is getting raves for his on-field shenanigans. Let's see if it translates into wins come September.
