Lexi Thompson spent time with her young fans after an abrupt finish at The Annika. The American golfer has semi-retired from golf and only plays in limited tournaments.
She teed it up this week on the LPGA Tour but struggled to make the cut after two rounds, and on Saturday, she shared an adorable picture signing autographs for young fans after her struggle on the greens. She shared it with a sweet caption.
"This will always make my day better," Thompson wrote.

Earlier this month, she received the First Dow Impact Awards. She received the fans’ votes amongst the five nominees and was awarded $25,000 in cash and a matching contribution for charities. Speaking of the honor, Thompson said (via LPGA Tour):
"I am honored to be named the first recipient of the Dow Impact Award. I am especially thankful to the fans who cast their votes for me throughout this process. I am grateful to Dow for providing us nominees a platform, allowing us to bring awareness to the various causes and charities we help support to a wider audience."Meanwhile, this season, she has some amazing finishes, such as settling in solo second at the Dow Championship and T4 at the Meijer LPGA Classic.

Lexi Thompson shared a few pictures of her outing at The Annika on Saturday. In the caption, she expressed her gratitude to the sponsors, volunteers, and fans for this week's event. She wrote:
"Thank you to all the sponsors, volunteers, and fans for making this week week possible at the @theannikalpga :) also a big thanks to the Doyle family and all the course staff at Pelican Golf Club for always making it one of the best weeks !"Thompson started her campaign at The Annika with an opening round of 71 and then carded the next round of 74. She settled with an overall score of 5-over. Linn Grant, meanwhile, took the lead in the game after three rounds. She carded 65 on Saturday and is in contention to win the title.
Jennifer Kupcho settled in second place one stroke behind at 13-under. Grace Kim was tied for third place with Nataliya Guseva at 11-under, followed by Lucy Li settled in T5 position with Gaby Lopez and Haeran Ryu. The tournament is scheduled to have its finale on Sunday, November 16.
