7x F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton shared an inspirational message for the Denver Broncos after the NFL franchise suffered a 34-20 defeat to the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday. Hamilton is a stakeholder within the team and shared a motivational message for the team about coming back stronger after the defeat.
The Broncos' winning momentum was halted as they struggled to contain the Jaguars, who secured the victory at Empower Field at Mile High on Sunday. While they have already secured a playoff spot, this defeat ended an 11-game win streak for the Broncos, who are still battling it out for the number 1 playoff seed in the AFC West.
Lewis Hamilton, a minority owner of the Broncos, attended the game on Sunday to support his team. After the defeat, the Ferrari driver took to Instagram to publicly back the team. He emphasised unity and perseverance despite the disappointing result.
"Tough day today but I’m so proud of this team. Even on a hard day like today I’m inspired by how you all support one another and continue to show up. Remember it’s not how we fall, it’s we get back up. Onto the next one," wrote Hamilton.

The Monegasque, who has been with the Italian team since 2019, beat Hamilton by over 80 points in 2025.
When asked about this and what implications it may have on the partnership going into 2026, Hamilton said [via PlanetF1]:
"I’ve just been focusing on my side during this period. Obviously, Charles has done a great job. He’s been there for seven years. He’s got a team around him that he’s worked with for many years. So, it’s a well-oiled machine." "On my side, it’s a new group of people. For me, it’s a new environment that I’m still getting used to working with. Then I had another new member halfway through the year," he added.Hamilton then added that he and the team have been trying to improve that relationship and understanding throughout his first year at Maranello. But he concluded by explaining that building a relationship like Leclerc has with the team would take longer and cannot be achieved overnight.
