Lewis Hamilton shared a message for Oliver Bearman after the Haas driver carried home his career-best result at the recently concluded Mexico GP. Bearman, driving in his first year for Haas, managed a P4 on Sunday and contributed 12 key points to his team.
The recently concluded race weekend at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez was by far the best race weekend for the young British driver. He qualified in P10 with a 1:16.410 time on the timesheet and was 0.874 seconds slower than Lando Norris, the pole sitter.
However, he started the race from P9, as Carlos Sainz had a five-place grid penalty. After a grueling race, Bearman came home in P4, behind reigning champion Max Verstappen and ahead of Championship leader Oscar Piastri.
Following Bearman's mega performance, his team released a video on social media, where the driver was celebrating with his race engineer. Lewis Hamilton, congratulating his fellow compatriot, dropped a message in the comment section of the post.
Here's what he wrote,

“I mean, that’s pretty much the same as all the other people around me, so… Didn’t make sense. Others cut it and held position and didn’t get penalties. It was pretty nuts.” “It felt like racing (with Max), I was fine there; it was just the cutting, and then I’m the only one to get a 10-second penalty. It was kind of nuts. 10 seconds, stop and go," he further added.Currently, Hamilton is in P6 in the Drivers' Championship with 146 points. His teammate, Charles Leclerc is in P5 with 210 points. Ferrari are in P2 in the Constructors' Championship with 356 points at the end of 20 races and four sprints.
