The record for oldest player to make an All-NBA team was held by LeBron James at 39 years old.
Some guy named LeBron James, who is 40, just broke that mark.
The King made Second-Team All-NBA in the league's Friday announcement.
Remarkably, James continued a streak of 21 consecutive seasons making All-NBA. He didn't make it as a rookie but has earned the prestigious honor every year since.
This one was maybe the most dicey. Because the NBA implemented a games played minimum for selection, James' midseason injury put him in jeopardy.
If he had missed just two more weeks of the season, he wouldn't have reached the 65-game minimum.

As it turned out, James got to the 70-game mark, clearing the bar comfortably.
LeBron averaged 24.4 points, 7.8 rebounds and 8.2 assists per game.
The King has averaged at least 24 points, six rebounds and six assists for each of the past 21 seasons.
If he's not the GOAT, he's right there.
And more and more stats keep stacking up to make a great GOAT argument for LeBron James.
