"LeBron James is not feared": Emmanuel Acho doesn't hold back on Lakers star after Dillon Brooks' "social media junkie" diss

Former NFL linebacker Emmanuel Acho has hit back at NBA icon LeBron James' status amid his feud with Phoenix Suns star Dillon Brooks. Brooks and LA Lakers superstar James had a heated battle in their matchup on Wednesday, and the Suns’ guard ended up getting ejected in the final seconds of the game. Nonetheless, the feud between the two players continued, and on Wednesday, Brooks slammed James during his media availability.

“He’s a social-media junkie,’’ Brooks said of James. “He be all over the socials … he thinks that people should think a way about him or not say nothing about him or play a certain way, and I’m not going to play that way. He gets in his moods or in his modes or whatever it is. I’m all for that."

Amid Brooks' beef with four-time NBA champion James, Acho has shared his thoughts on the situation.

"LeBron James isn't as feared as he should be for a player that went to the NBA Finals (for) nine straight years," Emmanuel Acho said on the "Speakeasy" show on Thursday. "For a player that got four championships ... for a player that leads the league in points scored, ever. Don't nobody fear LeBron, backup players try LeBron."

Acho also said that despite James' historic career, the 21-time All-Star is not feared like some of the other NBA greats.

"What makes a king a king is that others bow, physically, emotionally, figuratively, when one enters into the throne," Acho said. "And people don't bow to LeBron James. And I'm speaking in a figurative sense, so I don't think people fear him."

James has one NBA championship with the Cleveland Cavaliers, two with the Miami Heat, and one with the Lakers. He also holds several league records.

J.J. McCarthy's Minnesota Vikings beat Dak Prescott's Dallas Cowboys 34-26 in Week 15 of the season on Sunday. However, Emmanuel Acho took shots at both QBs during his analysis of the game.

"Dak Prescott, how you get outplayed by J.J. McCarthy?" Acho said on "Speakeasy" on Sunday. "By J.J. McCarthy, the laughing stock of the National Football League, over the last month. He is a meme. He's more known for being a meme than he is a touchdown passer. And you got outplayed by him. "You (Prescott) got George Pickens, CeeDee Lamb on your team, and you're throwing the (Ryan) Flournoy, huh? Make that make sense? So to me, the Cowboys played a dumb brand of football, and they acted like a dumb team. In totality, this year, just a completely dumb team."

Emmanuel Acho, who played four years in the NFL, retired in 2015. Since then, he has transitioned into an analysis.

Acho launched his "Speakeasy" show on YouTube with LeSean McCoy in September.
