The initial public offer (IPO) of Laxmi Dental will open for subscription today. The issue, which is a combination of fresh issue of 32.24 lakh shares and an offer for sale (OFS) worth Rs 560 crore, will be available for bidding till January 15.
The company proposes to use the funds raised from the IPO for debt repayment by the company and select subsidiaries, financing capital expenditures for new machinery purchases, investing in the subsidiary Bizdent Devices, and general corporate purposes.

Laxmi Dental has fixed a price band of Rs 407-428 per share and at the upper price band, the company plans to raise around Rs 698 crore. Investors can bid for a maximum of 33 shares in one lot and in multiples thereafter.

Based on FY24 earnings, the P/E ratio rises to 130.87, indicating that the issue is priced aggressively," said Bajaj Broking, while assigning a subscribe for long term recommendation.
