Laura Govan Drops “Corny” Truth Bomb on Gilbert Arenas, Accusing Him of Sleeping With Evelyn Lozada Amid $244K Child Support Claim 

Laura Govan has shared her side of the story after Gilbert Arenas claimed that he paid her $244,000 in child support during a conversation with Evelyn Lozada.

Arenas made the revelation while speaking on the “Drop the Lo’ podcast” on Wednesday. His comments did not go down well with Govan, who claimed that Arenas had an affair with Lozada. She also refuted the three-time All-Star’s claim of paying $244,000 per month in child support.

“It was more like 244 - D O L L A R S with NO added zeros,” Govan wrote on Instagram. “Here’s a truth! Every chick corny Gil has interviewed with. He has SLEPT WITH! Fun facts… GOOFY AN.”

Govan continued, pleading to Arenas to leave her alone:

“You better leave me alone, bro, I got real facts! You should be worrying about our children instead of all the lies you tell! I’m real F’n sick of you and your storytelling… Now go run tell that.”

“It’s kind of funny how this lady dun ran thru every big three but got so much to say about me! ... All in the back of a car, but got the audacity to ask about me! Let’s keep it cute GOOFY.”

Laura Govan and Gilbert Arenas had reconciled before his $244K child support claim

Laura Govan and Arenas' long-strained relationship was finally beginning to improve before his interview with Evelyn Lozada. In April, their son, Alijah Arenas, was in a car crash that could have been fatal.

Govan explained to DHC Live in September how that incident brought her closer to Arenas.

"Alijah, our son, had an accident, and it was a really bad space, a really deadly situation. We came together in the midst of that and it’s been great since,” Govan said.

Months later, Govan and Arenas are far from being on the same page. The pair were together from 2002 to 2014 and share four children.

Neither the former NBA star nor Lozada has publicly acknowledged Govan's comments on Instagram.
