The mustache is coming to South Bay.
Specifically, Drew Timme's 'stache to the South Bay Lakers, the G League affiliate of the Los Angeles Lakers.
Timme was officially named to the South Bay roster on Saturday.
The big fella with the great facial hair is one of the best players in Gonzaga history.
In his college career, he totaled 2,307 points, 896 rebounds and 115 blocked shots. He also scored 301 points in the NCAA Tournament, which is sixth-best among any Division I player in tourney history.
Timme went undrafted in 2023 and started his career with the Milwaukee Bucks. He has also been in the organizations of the Sacramento Kings and Brooklyn Nets.

He didn't actually make his NBA debut until March 28, 2025 with the Nets.
In his first NBA game, Timme had 11 points and 10 rebounds.
He had 19 points and six rebounds in his second game.
The Nets were very shorthanded and very much tanking, and Timme wasn't in their future plans.
Brooklyn waived Timme on Oct. 13.
He may eventually get a cup of coffee with the L.A. Lakers. But in the meantime, expect Timme to put up big numbers in the G League in South Bay.
