In a heartwarming moment, Novak Djokovic’s son, Stefan, enthusiastically lifted the trophy with his father’s help after the most decorated tennis player earned his 101st career title at the Hellenic Championship on November 8, 2025. He then posed for a family portrait featuring the Serb, his father, Srdjan, and his brother, Marko.
Novak Djokovic, the only player in tennis history to have been the reigning champion of all four Grand Slams at once across three different surfaces, marked a stellar 2025 season by breaking multiple records. He narrowly missed the chance to win his 25th Major at each outing but achieved his 100th career title at the Geneva Open.
En route to the ATP Finals, the Serb played at the Hellenic Championship, trouncing Alejandro Tabilo, Nuno Borges, Yannick Hanfmann, and Lorenzo Musetti to win his record-extending 101st career title. With his win, he also surpassed Roger Federer's record of most hard-court tour-level titles in the Open Era.
At the post-match ceremony, the 38-year-old was handed the trophy, but his son, Stefan, seemed more interested in holding it. The little one then posed for a family picture with the laurel in his hand, and with his father’s help, lifted it above his head, drawing delighted reactions from Djokovic, his father, Srjdan, and his brother Marko, who were gushing over the moment.
Djokovic defeated Musetti in three sets, 4-6, 6-3, 7-5, after a three-hour thriller. Following the win, the 24-time Grand Slam champion expressed pride in himself for getting through the tournament successfully.
"An incredible battle… Three hours of a gruelling match, physically. It could have been anybody's match, so congrats to Lorenzo for an amazing performance. I’m just very proud of myself to get through this one.”The 101-career titlist and Musetti's deciding set featured 13 break points and five breaks of serve.
