The Kansas City Royals star's offensive prowess was awarded with a Silver Slugger win, while his defensive skills won him a Gold Glove before he was also adjudged the American League's Platinum Glove winner.

Bobby Witt Jr. won the American League Silver Slugger award ahead of shortstops Bo Bichette of the Toronto Blue Jays and Jeremy Pena of the Houston Astros. Witt hit at .295 with 88 RBIs and 23 home runs with 38 stolen bases. His 184 hits led the MLB for the second consecutive season.
Witt Jr. became the first player in franchise history to win multiple Rawlings' Gold Glove awards. He had a +24 Outs Above Average, tied for the highest in the MLB in any position alongside the Chicago Cubs' Pete Crow-Armstrong. He also had +20 fielding run value.
The 25-year-old became the fifth shortstop in the history of the game to win consecutive Silver Slugger and Gold Glove awards. His defensive skills were further rewarded when he was adjudged the best fielder in the American League with a Platinum Glove award on Friday.
