Mere minutes into the group’s first gathering on camera, Kimi Murdoch repeats a rumor she heard from Martha Lady Sitwell: that Dara Huang, Myka Meier‘s best friend of more than two decades and successful American architect, allegedly doubles as a madam. The rumor makes its rounds through the friend group, with Meier immediately jumping to her bestie’s defense. When she later fills Huang in on what was said about her behind her back, Huang shrugs it off, completely unbothered.

What is a madam?

Per Merriam-Webster Dictionary, a madam is a woman who runs a brothel. So, basically, the cast is accusing Huang of having a side job as a pimp.

Who is Dara Huang? Is Dara Huang a madam?

Huang is an American architect who was previously engaged to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi. She gave birth to their son, Christopher Woolf, in 2016, before they ended their engagement in 2018. Mozzi, for his part, is now married to Princess Beatrice York — the daughter of former Prince Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor — making York the stepmother of Huang’s son.

Regarding the rumors about Huang’s business practices, the claims that she is a madam seem to be rather baseless. Huang is an architect who founded Design Haus Liberty, an award-winning interior design firm, and co-founded Dara Maison, a luxury furniture collection.
