Labubu Mania: Rihanna, Dua Lipa and More Love These Viral TikTok Dolls

The latest viral toy has led to an unfortunate La-break-in.

As Labubus continue to fly off the shelves, both in person and virtually, one Los Angeles store shared that a group of burglars had snatched up a bunch of the toothy monsters from their establishment.

"Today we got robbed," One Stop Sales said in an Aug. 6 Instagram post. "They took all of our inventory, trashed our store. We are still in shock."

The La Puente store shared surveillance footage from 1:37 a.m., in which four masked men entered the property after the sound of shattering glass, before rummaging through the stock and running out with several boxes.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department confirmed to NBC News that "several boxes of Labubu dolls were stolen, valued at approximately seven thousand dollars" during the Aug. 6 burglary.

The store's co-owner Joanna Avendano told KABC that other blind boxes and merchandise were also stolen, totaling more than $30,000.

"We worked so hard to get to this point," she told the outlet, "and for them to just come in and, like nothing, take it all away, it's really bad."

While One Stop Sales continues to pick up the pieces following the heartbreaking incident, local officials did find some of the products.

"Thank you to the Industry Sheriff's Department for helping us recover some of our items," the shop shared on Instagram Aug. 8 alongside a mountain of inventory. "Thank you for your service in helping us out. We appreciate everything! As well as our community that has been helping us as well!"

The store added that while the case is still under investigation, they will continue to share updates if more items are found.

Labubus have made a monstrous mark in pop culture this summer with the toys/fashion accessories—which retail for $27.99—being sold second-hand for hundreds.

From stars like BLACKPINK's Lisa to David Beckham and Kim Kardashian, the key-ringed plushies have solidified their presence hanging off a lot of bags. As Lisa told Vanity Fair in 2024 ahead of the mainstream craze, "This is my secret obsession."

"If I fly to New York, I go to Miami, I try to find Pop Mart there," she admitted, "Paris, everywhere. Kind of like finding treasure."
