A Los Angeles lawyer was allegedly fatally shot by his brother during an argument over Christmas weekend, according to cops and a neighbor.
Krikor Kouyoumdjian, a 30-year-old civil rights attorney, was shot at his residence on the 9600 block of Noble Avenue in the North Hills area around 1:45 PM Saturday, police said.

A neighbor told CBS Los Angeles that Kouyoumdjian was shot by his brother. The LAPD did not confirm the relation, but said the attorney was killed after an argument with a younger man.
Kouyoumdjian attended UCLA School of Law and worked on cases involving employment rights, civil rights and whistleblower claims.
He was passionate about serving his community outside of his work as well, and founded a debate program at the Center for Early Education, according to his website.
No further information has been released by police.
